In-Color Club August 2021 - Polished Pink

I'm not really a pink kinda girl and thought this was a little too bright for my taste - but I actually loved the way these two cards came out.

Base card: Basic White 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Polished Pink panel 4 x 5 1/4
Very Vanilla 3x4
Basic Black 3 1/4 x 4 1/4
Scraps:  Basic White, Basic Black
Ink - Polished Pink

Timeless Tropical Stamps
In the Tropics Dies
Paintyed Texture embossing folder

  • Die cut "aloha" from Basic Black
  • Color the palm trees with the appropriate Stampin' Write Markers and then die cut with coordinating die.
  • Apply Polished Pink ink to the inside of the embossing folder (the side with the logo) insert Polished Pink panel.  Run through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine.
  • Layer all as in sample. I adhered the top part of the trees with Dimensionals and the bottom part with glue.

Base card: Polished Pink 4 1/4 x 11. Score at 5 1/2
Scraps:  Basic White, Basic Black
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black

Ornate Layers Dies

  • Die cut the largest of the rectangles from the Ornate Layers dies from Basic Black cardstock and the smaller from Basic White cardstock. Stamp sentiment with black ink on the right side of the white rectangle
  • Heat emboss the large flower from the Timeless Tropical stamp set with black ink (I use Versafine Black) and clear powder. Die cut with coordinating die and then color with Polished Pink Stampin' Blend markers.
  • Layer all as in sample. I wrapped a piece of ribbon around the die cut white rectangle and then adhered to the black rectangle. I then wrapped a piece of ribbon around the black and white together before adhering to the base card. The three black dots are Matte Black Dots.
