Goodbye Lovely as a Tree

Last night the Wednesday Gang of Stampers Ten said a fond farewell to Lovely as a Tree. We celebrated with champagne punch and cake!  This is one set I'll never part with!

Catalog Preservation

The Stampin' Up! annual catalog is one of our best resources! Not only is it the home for all of the Stampin' Up! products there are also so many tips and project samples that just cry out to be replicated! The photos below show how I preserve my catalog.  I use the 3 hole punch magazine holder and an inexpensive 3 ring binder. Both items may be purchased on Amazon but a local favorite store of mine - Ocean State Job Lot - sells the binders very inexpensively.  The tabs are made by Post It and I use them year to year.  I'll have these items for sale at my new catalog launch party (at cost) so you can fancy up your catalog the day you get it!  Be sure to sign up for this FREE event on my website which you can access from the right side bar.  Just go to the events tab and scroll to June 8!

Lovely as a Tree cont....

Still playing with my Lovely as a Tree set in preparation for my Stampers Ten class in a few weeks. I wanted to put together a bunch of samples to show the versatility of this set.  I am still kicking myself for not showing this set to the girls before now. I always thought that I'd have time to show it to them. Certainly a life lesson in this, isn't there?  Below are some of the cards that I made with credit given (below the photos) to the members from Pinterest that gave me the inspiration .

Inspiration from Jpollock designs.
Also used the Dashing Deer stamp set and Detailed Deer dies

Inspiration from Beth Beard
Also used the Sheet Music background stamp (retiring)

Inspiration from BjL Splitcoast
The sentiment is from Sheltering Tree (retiring)

Inspiration Dee Adams
The female image and sentiment are from the Beautiful You set.

This is one of my own, though there are lots of similar images on Pinterest. I learned this technique from my very first SU! Demonstrator, Kathy Ladonne - probably right around the time this set came out.

This too is one of my own. I call this "Four Seasons."  The sentiment is from Sheltering Tree (retiring).

Inspiration from Tamara Bertram
Sentiment is from Christmas Pines (retiring)

Inspiration from Jacquel L. Bowman

Inspiration by Carol Hawk
Sentiment from Basket of Wishes (retiring)

Inspiration from "I have no idea!"  I saw this image a few times but it wasn't attributed to anyone.
Sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings

Inspiration from twohappystampers
Sentiment from Flourishing Phrases

This is one of my own as well, though there are a bunch on Pinterest that are similar in style.
