Stampers Club - July 2021 - Featured Artist: Bonnie Reid

Our  Featured Artist for the July 2021 Stampers Club is Bonnie Reid. The paper she was provided was Sahara Sand, Basic White, Basic Black, Soft Succulent and Pansy Petals DSP,
Bonnie made two beautiful cards this month. To the first she added two of the new In-Colors - Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent and the Sweet as a Peach DSP. For her second card with the cool fold she added a butterfly from Butterfly Brilliance. Thanks Bonnie for sharing your creativity!

The card for this month's club was probably one of the easiest I've ever created for any of my card clubs.  Great technique for a quick and easy card and a great way to utilize all of those embossing folders that most of us have in our stash of goodies.

Base card: Sahara Sand 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Basic White panel: 4 x 5 1/4
Scraps: Basic White, Sahara Sand
Ink: Sahara Sand, Balmy Blue

Peaceful Moments Stamps
Painted Label Dies
Seashells Embossing Folder

  • Open embossing folder flat and ink the side with the Stampin' Up logo by tapping the ink pad, lightly, onto the surface. Place the panel of Basic White onto the inked side lining up the bottom edge of the paper with the thin black line that goes across the bottom of the embossing folder and through the aforementioned logo.  Run through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.
  • Cut a label from the Painted Label dies and stamp sentiment with Sahara Sand ink.
  • Cut another label from Sahara Sand cardstock and cut in half horizontally and adhere to the back of the stamped sentiment, creating a border.
  • Tie bakers twine, twice, around the ink embossed panel and adhere to base card.
  • Adhere sentiment with Dimensionals.
