Stampers Club - October 2020 - Featured Artist: Elaine Williams
Our October Featured Artist for the 2020-2021 Stampers Club is Elaine Williams. Elaine used all the supplies that I gave her which included Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze cardstock, Magic in This Night DSP, Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack – Terracotta Tile ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones Basic jewels. She used the Country Home stamp set to make this lovey fall themed card. Thanks Elaine for sharing your creativity!
Base card: Blackberry Bliss 8 ½ x 5 ½ scored at 4¼
- Stamp background words with Cinnamon Cider ink on Very Vanilla panel as in sample below.
- Stamp leaves with Blackberry Bliss ink as in sample below.
- Stamp Happy Harvest Blessings on scrap of Very Vanilla with Blackberry Bliss ink. Die cut with the die from the Ornate Frames die. (TIP: I used the leftover piece of paper after cutting the Very Vanilla panel for the card front. This piece is smaller than the width of the die but that's okay as I only wanted the short ends to be cut. I then centered the stamped sentiment strip onto the scrap of Blackberry Bliss and cut them both at the same time.)
- Wrap the linen thread around the Very Vanilla panel twice and knot in front. Adhere the panel to the base card.
- Adhere the sentiment with Dimensionals.
- Add Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels where desired.

Applying labels to SU! Cling Stamps (red rubber stamps)
I can't take credit for developing this technique (wish I could!) as it is the easiest way that I know to apply the labels. Hope it is helpful to you as well.
