Stampers Club - September 2021 Featured Artist: Darlene Trupp

 Our  Featured Artist for the September 2021 Stampers Club is Darlene Trupp. The paper she was provided was Basic White, Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Tidings of Christmas DSP and Evening Evergreen ribbon. Along with the supplies provided Darlene also used Scalloped contours dies, A large circle die, Feeling of Christmas stamp set, Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend markers. She also heat embossed the wreath. Thanks Dar for sharing your creativity!

Base card: Misty Moonlight 4 1/4 x 11  (score at 5 1/2)
Tidings of Christmas 6x6 DSP : 4 x 5 1/4
Scraps: Gold foil sheet, Soft Succulent, Saraha Sand and Evening Evergreen
Ink: Cherry Cobbler and Evening Evergreen

Forever Fern and Perfectly Plaid Stamps
Painted Labels and Forever Flourishing Dies



  • Stamp sentiment with Evening Evergreen Ink on Sahara Sand cardstock.
  • Stamp berries on Sahara Sand cardstock with Cherry Cobbler ink. Apply Shimmery Crystal Effects and set aside to dry.
  • Die cut two ferns - one from Soft Succulent and the other from Evening Evergreen. Ink the edges of the fern cut from Soft Succulent with Evening Evergreen.
  • Die cut fancy circle from gold foil.
  • Assemble all as in sample.

Best Year Stamps
Painted Labels Dies, Pick a size Banner Punch and Pine Tree Punch



  • Stamp sentiment with Evening Evergreen Ink on 1" piece of Basic White cardstock. Punch end with the right side of the Banner punch
  • Line up the Pine tree punch with the left side and bottom of the DSP and punch.  The tag will cover the hole! Ink the edges of the tree with Evening Evergreen ink.
  • Die cut tag from Basic White cardstock (Painted Labels)
  • Adhere the tree to the tag and a piece of fun foam to the back of the tag.
  • Adhere ribbon to the back of the DSP.
  • Assemble all as in sample. Put a Silver and Clear Epoxy gem at the top of the tree.

In-Color Club October 2021 - Evening Evergreen

 

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  Get started on those cards - it will be here before you know it!  These two cards are both very simple and come together quickly. 





Base card: Evening Evergreen 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 

Tidings of Christmas 6x6 DSP panel 4 x 5 1/4 
Basic White panel 3 3/4 x 5

So Many Snowflakes Dies
Snowflake Wishes Stamps

  • Die cut the large snowflake on the Basic White panel.
  • Stamp sentiment on bottom of Basic White panel with Evening Evergreen ink.
  • Layer all as in sample.

  • Die cut the tag from Basic White. Stamp "Merry Christmas" with Cherry Cobbler ink.
  • Die cut the same tag from the middle of the Cherry Cobbler panel (don't worry, it will be covered!) and cut the tag in half on the long side and adhere to the back of the tag with sentiment creating a border.
  • Using the STAMPARATUS and the hinge step stamping technique (see below) stamp the trees.  First, third and fifth images will be stamped full strength ink. Second and fourth images will be second generation ink.
  • Adhere ribbon to back of white and red panels.
  • Layer all as in sample. Tag is adhered with Dimensionals.

 Lots of products used in these two cards! One Halloween card and one Christmas card. What fun! 





Base card: Fresh Fresia 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 
Cute Halloween 6x6 DSP panel 4 x 5 1/4 
Scraps:  Basic White, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Word Wishes, Frightful Tag and Stitched So Sweetly Dies
A Wish for Everything Stamps

  • Die cut "Happy," Large rectangle and witches hat from Basic Black.
  • Die cut circle from Daffodil Delight.
  • Die cut smaller rectangle from Basic White and stamp "Halloween" on bottom right with black ink.
  • Color the band on the hat with colored pencils of your choice. I used Granny Apple Green and Basic Gray water color pencils. 
  • Wrap Metallic Mesh Ribbon around DSP and adhere to base card.
  • Layer all as in sample.

  • Die cut "Merry" and large rectangle from Basic Black.
  • Die cut penguin from DSP with Penguin punch
  • Die cut smaller rectangle from Basic White and stamp "Christmas" on bottom right with black ink.
  • Wrap Metallic Mesh Ribbon around DSP and adhere to base card.
  • Layer all as in sample. Penguin is adhered with Dimensionals
